Pool Villas for Rent in Phuket Under ฿80,000 a Month
By Islander Home Team
A private pool is what most people picture when they imagine living in Phuket. It is also more affordable than many expect, provided you are willing to live a little further from the island’s most famous beaches.
As of late October 2026, we list 151 homes for rent with a private pool. 31 of them cost less than ฿80,000 a month. The figures below cover those 31 properties.
The numbers
- Median rent: ฿60,000 a month
- Cheapest: ฿40,000 a month
- Bedrooms: Most have two (15) or three (10) bedrooms; four have four bedrooms, and one has a single bedroom
- Pet-friendly: 6 of the 31 listings state that pets are welcome
What each budget gets you
| Monthly rent | Villas | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Up to ฿50,000 | 8 | Chalong, Thalang, Rawai |
| ฿50,001 to ฿60,000 | 11 | Mostly Chalong; Rawai, Thalang, Kathu |
| ฿60,001 to ฿70,000 | 7 | Chalong, Rawai, Thalang |
| ฿70,001 to ฿79,999 | 5 | Chalong, Thalang, Rawai |
Where they are

Chalong accounts for more than half of these properties. Seventeen of the thirty-one are located here, many around Soi Palai, Hideaway Valley and the roads between Wat Chalong and Rawai. Most are two- or three-bedroom villas in small developments.
None are in Bang Tao. On our list, pool villas near Bang Tao Beach and Laguna have a median rent of ฿180,000 a month. If your budget is under ฿80,000, consider looking further south and inland instead.
A few examples from the current list
- A one-bedroom private pool villa in Rawai: ฿45,000 a month
- A two-bedroom pool villa near the sea, Chalong: ฿45,000 a month
- A three-bedroom pool villa where small pets are welcome, Chalong: ฿52,000 a month
- A pool villa with a German kitchen, Kathu: ฿60,000 a month

What to ask about the pool
- Who cleans it, and how often? Weekly pool maintenance is often included in the rent, but not always.
- The size. At this budget, many pools are plunge pools measuring just a few metres. Ask for the exact dimensions if you plan to swim laps.
- Electricity. The pool pump runs every day. Ask whether electricity is charged at the government rate.
- Fencing. If you have young children, check whether the pool can be fenced off or covered.
